CONSER
offers technology for the complete design (Basic Process Book) of
gas treating units. Projects are supported by the know how and experience
of CONSER alone or in collaboration with selected partners.
In addition to the design of new units, typical gas treating projects
carried-out by CONSER include the following:
-
Selection of the most appropriate solvent depending on specific
application (MEA, DEA, MDEA, DGA, UCARSOL, GAS SPEC)
-
Troubleshooting (corrosion, foaming)
- Debottlenecking
towards increased capacity and energy savings
- Drying and
purification for petrochemical applications

PROCESS
DESCRIPTION (Amine washing)
Sour gas is washed
by counter-current contact with lean solvent to absorb H2S and CO2.
Clean gas is discharged overhead, while rich solvent is flashed to
minimize HC content. Rich solvent is preheated and fed to regeneration
column where acid gas is stripped out and discharged to a Claus unit
for sulphur recovery. Lean solution from the bottom of regenerator
is cooled, filtered and recycled back to the absorber.
