The design of petrochemical and chemical plants is a complex creative and technical problem solving matter, requiring specialized skills.
Petrochemical and chemical processes are based on complex reactions taking place over wide ranges of operating conditions. Selection of equipment capable of withstanding critical operating conditions, corrosion resistance, and toxicity, keeping in mind the critical specifications of the final product, are an essential part of CONSER’s know how and responsibility.
Changes under costant surveillance by CONSER include evolutions in unit values such as cost of feedstocks and utilities, price of product, changes in feedstock and product specification, in government regulations and the challenge of new competitive technologies.
CONSER’s industrial experience in the petrochemical and chemical fields include the design of plants for hydrocarbon pyrolysis for the production of olefins and aromatics, chlorinated derivatives, organic acids and anhydrides, glycols, amines, resins, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals and the processing and recovery of aromatics. A list of technologies, relating to CONSERS’s experience and know-how, is provided in the attached tables and process charts.

DEVELOPMENT AND LICENSING OF CHEMICAL PROCESSES

CONSER has the necessary experience and capability of developing a process from the laboratory to full commercialization.
Process development is undertaken with the objective of successful commercialization, evaluating alternative competitive routes, capital and operating costs, environmental viability and safety.
Once the process has been proven to meet established criteria, it is made available to prospective clients.
